Finca Moncloa was born out of the González family’s desire to restore the production of high quality red wines to the area and demonstrates an interest in restoring forgotten traditions that have been lost over time. As a result of this interest, in 1972 González Byass began experimenting with red varieties in the area, with this Finca Moncloa a a result.
